The Northumbria University (North East of England) is seeking to fill a vacancy for professor of Creative and Cultural Industries:
"The post holder will provide leadership within the Department of Arts to strengthen and develop current expertise in the cultural and creative industries and help take forward a strategic vision for future research activity. The successful applicant will also be instrumental in developing new research projects, generating research income and providing research leadership and management. Her/his own high quality research outputs will make a substantial contribution to the 2013 Research Excellence Framework (REF). We are seeking an individual with an outstanding international reputation for research in the field of cultural and creative industries, experience of attracting substantial income for research and a strong track record in attracting and supervising PGR students through to completion. Salary: Negotiable".
