Call for Papers: Korean Film Symposium, Nottingham Trent University, Monday 16th of November 2009.
Participants are invited to a one-day Korean Film symposium taking place at Nottingham Trent University (Clifton campus). The day will close with a plenary session by Julian Stringer and Nikki J. Y. Lee who will present an historical overview of issues in Korean film history and Korean film studies in relation to material recently made available by the Korean Film Archive.
Participation may take the form of: 1) twenty-minute research paper presentation on Korean cinema, 2) attendance at the symposium. This is a free event (including refreshments) but places are limited both for attendance and presentation. Please send a 500 abstract or confirmation of attendance (with a few lines of relevant biography) to [email protected] by Monday October the 26th.
The event is funded by the Korean Cultural Centre.
